A Brief History:
PanAmor Handpans Ltd. was originally born in a old converted pig stye in Totnes, Devon.
Daryl started in the way that many handpan makers begin by sinking sheet steel on the top of an oil barrel by hand. The very first shells were sunk with kettle bells and tuned in basic rings supported by vices on speaker stands.
The first instruments to sing...
(Raw Steel)
As Daryls skills and techniques developed he inevitably levelled up to deep drawn nitrided steel
(shellopan shells)
Then there was Art...
Present Day:
We now produce and use all of our own material, formed, sculpted and tuned in the new PanAmor workshop.
As you can see through the creative development of our instruments, there are many aesthetic variables to choose from to customize your sound sculpture, whether that's the colour scheme, artwork, polished dimples, steel rims and more!
