The sound of Ember is similar to 430stainless but with a sound and feel that is warmer, rounder and more ceramic. 
The reason for the huge price reduction is because there was a misalignment with the design on the top. It is not central to the ding which is how we usually engrave this design. 
For that reason we thought it could be a nice idea to offer a high grade, low register handpan for a fraction of the usual cost. 
A perfect opportunity for someone who cannot afford the usual price of £2500.
